At its heart, our work is advocacy, and that work is meaningful and dynamic. Since 1981, ProKids has grown to serve an increasing number of children in the child protection system. Our workplace is guided by our shared values of collaboration, optimism, learning, persistence, and respect.
This role provides agency accounting, payroll, operations, office management, and information technology support, helping to ensure optimal performance of ProKids and maximizing positive outcomes for our kids. This role will present opportunities to grow professionally and, for the right candidate, to assume additional organizational leadership over time.
The position is hybrid with a minimum of 3 days required in the office. ProKids’ office hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m – 4:30 p.m. No phone calls, please.
At ProKids, it’s not just a job. Our staff recruits, trains, and supports our community volunteers who provide a voice for abused and neglected children in Hamilton County. These Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA Volunteers) depend on our passionate staff, dedicated to the vision of a safe, permanent, and nurturing home for every child.
We believe that different backgrounds and perspectives shape ProKids culture and we work to reflect the community we serve. We value diversity as an organizational asset, utilizing the strengths and benefits it brings to children, families, co-workers, and our community. That’s why we offer a welcoming workplace for our staff and volunteers. We work to face and overcome bias, encouraging those of all ages, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, and physical abilities to join us. You can see our entire policy here.
We work hard to tie compensation to the market and offer a menu of benefits such as healthcare insurance, generous vacation/sick day policies, and the opportunity to save for retirement. At ProKids, we support one another and celebrate our successes. We also do everything we can to ensure the safety of our children. All employees are subject to a background check.
